Sponsor Spotlight

This week we take a look at three of our sponsors who have kindly sponsored for many years and for that as a club we are extremely grateful and hope that our association will continue long into the future.

FRF Toyota

With branches in Carmarthen, Haverfordwest, Swansea and Bridgend FRF Toyota have been the main shirt sponsor for a good many years. Located in Morfa Lane just a stones throw from the park the dealership offer new and used car sales and competitively priced after care as well as part of the Motability scheme.

The FRF Toyota badge has been displayed proudly on the front of the 1st XV shirts since the 2016/2017 season.

As with all businesses since March 2020 it has been a difficult time with the Country in and out of lockdowns but the company has strived to offer the same level of service it did in normal times. Even now with the country in hopefully the final hard lockdown they have been socially conscious and by adhering to Government guidelines they are open to the public albeit in a different way.

If you are in the market for a new or used car, or your current Toyota requires a service or MOT then please contact FRF Toyota and we are sure they will be only too happy to see a Quins supporter use their service or purchase one of their products.

From all of us at the Quins we thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you when we can.

David Harries & Co Wholesale Factors

David Harries whilst the current President of the Club the company has been a sponsor of the club for over 30 years and has regularly had pride of place on the front of the 1st XV’s playing shirts.

A family owned business David Harries & Co was established in 1970 and is a family run wholesale business. They are a leading distributor in West Wales priding themselves on providing a reliable and personal service.

The business continues to concentrate on supplying local engineering companies, main agricultural dealers, MoD establishments and local authorities. Specialising in the supplying of a wide range of products including belts, bearings, hydraulics, batteries, welding equipment and a wide selection of tools.

As you can imagine with the nature of the customers the pandemic has meant that the business has had to continue to ensure key businesses could continue their work. In challenging times this has been no mean feat.

Please be sure to look up David Harries and Co if you think you are in need of any of their products.

The club thanks you for your continued support and we look forward to the future.

Castell Howell

Another family run business that has been the cornerstone of support not only for the Quins but the community of Carmarthen but many other clubs, organisations and communities across Wales.

Brian of course was club President for many years but is still a huge supporter of rugby at the Quins from Under 7s to the Senior side and is seen as often in Abergwili on a Sunday morning as he is in the park on a Saturday afternoon.

Castell Howell was a business hit heavily during the pandemic as many of its customers were forced to close or scale back their businesses in line with Government guidelines. It required the business to look at new ways of working and this it did successfully by opening the Cash and Carry in Pensarn to the general public and offering click and collect services across South Wales. Both initiatives were welcomed.

During the pandemic when many individuals and families were suffering Castell Howell were at the forefront of Welsh Government initiatives like food parcels for individuals who were medically shielding and also free school meals for those less fortunate pupils.

As a passionate supporter of many across Wales we highly recommend that any of our followers take a visit to the Cash and Carry and have a look at the wide variety of products that are available at good prices and give something back to the company that gives so much to the community and future generations of the country.

Castell Howell we thank you for your long and continued support and wish you well in your future endeavours as the world emerges from this crisis.
