Quins Welcome RGC 1404 to Town.

After what seems like an age we finally have some 1st XV action to see on the park with RGC 1404 visiting this coming Saturday.
The last home came was of course the televised game against Llanelli where the Quins ran out worthy winners 30pts to 13pts against a spirited side. Since then the Quins have played Cardiff twice, once in the league where we ran out victors 27pts to 25pts in the Arms park and last weeks heavy defeat in the Premiership Cup.
Our visitors narrowly failed to qualify for the knockout stages of the cup following a defeat against Pontypridd last week.  Like the Quins, RGC  1404 have played three league games so far winning one against Llanelli and two defeats against Cardiff and Llandovery. Contests between the two sides are always evenly contested and not generally settle until near the end of the game.
In the ill fated 2019/2020 the two teams managed to meet twice with the Quins winning the home game 22pts to 6pts and the away game ending in a 15 all draw.
The Quins will be mindful that rugby is a game of fine margins and will be looking for an improvement on last weeks performance against a team that knows how to perform when it needs to so an exciting encounter is expected at the park.
With the lifting of further restrictions the day before the game we are delighted to be able to offer our loyal sponsors a day out to watch the Quins and enjoy the club house hospitality.
This week our sponsors are:
