Lewis Morgan cleans up at Quins end of season awards 2024-25

Carmarthen Quins RFC held their 2024-25 End of Season presentation on Friday 30th May.

Hooker Lewis Morgan claimed a super haul of awards, taking home four of the eight awards up for grabs after a top try scoring season.

Lewis also had an opportunity to play regional rugby, representing Scarlets, Cardiff Rugby and scoring a try when he came on as a replacement for Dragons Rugby in South Africa.

Director of Rugby Steff Thomas opened the evening thanking the club leadership and committee for their patience and understanding as the squad, and club, looks to build to the future.

The 2024-25 on-field season saw outstanding displays against Cardiff and Pontypool on home turf at Carmarthen Park, where five-pointers were secured.

There have been times throughout the season, including games against RGC and Ebbw Vale in the play-offs, where we’ve been without several experienced players.

Despite being a young group, we have shown great character and determination and reached the inaugural Super Rygbi Cymru play-offs.

A special mention was made for captain Tom Phillips.

Tom led the group from the front, and his physicality and leadership was missed on the field following his injury.
