Super Rygbi Cymru action is back at Carmarthen Park on Thursday 11th December, after last week’s wet weather cancelled the home clash against Bridgend Ravens.
28-year-old second row Ryan Bean will make his 100th appearance in Quins colours, having made his club debut as a replacement against Newport in September 2019.
The Quins return to Super Rygbi Cymru action after last weekend’s postponed fixture looking to keep a foothold in the top three ahead of the festive derbies against Llandovery.
Ebbw Vale and Llandovery, in first and second place respectively, have something of a march on the rest of the pack forging ahead on 48 and 43 points.
Thursday opposition, Cardiff, are currently a point behind the Quins in fourth place on 28 points.
The backline has a strong regional flavour with Scarlets’ Iori Badham, Gabe McDonald, Callum Woolley, Elis price and Rhodri Lewis named in the starting XV.
Ifan Davies and Jac Howells retain their place from the last game out, against Aberavon, with Howells moving to outside centre.
Shaun Evans leads a strong pack which features experienced players like Rhys Fawcett, Tom Phillips and Lewys Millin.
Try-scoring hooker Lewis Morgan is joined in the front row by Fawcett and tighthead prop Connor Allen. Ryan Bean, on his 100th appearance, lines up beside Phillips in the second row, with Scarlets’ Ben Williams taking his place on the blindside flank alongside Evans and Millin.
