Robert played for the Quins Youth XV before joining the senior side in 1991.
His first appearance for the Quins 1st XV was at home to Vardre on the 1st March 1991.

Has a Welsh Districts cap to his name.
Played in the first Quins Welsh League match away at Cardigan on the 5th September 1992.
Played his last 1st XV game at home to Dunvant on the 6th November 1999.
