Ricky made 172 appearances at scrum-half for the Quins 1st XV in his 8 seasons with the club. Ricky (above) being presented with his 10 + Appearances Tie by Brian Jones, Club Committee, at a function at the club on the 12th May 2018.
PLAYING RECORD
Ricky made his first appearance for the Quins 1st XV at home to Whitland on the 21st Au- gust 2004.
Of his 172 appearances, 139 were League games; 21 Cup and 12 Friendlies.
He played in three Tovali Cup successes against Cwmllynfell (2007); Carmarthen Athletic
(2008) & Loughor (2009).
He was a member of the team that made a record score for the Quins in the Welsh Cup when they beat Tredegar Ironsides by 81 pts to nil in 2003/04.
He can boast having played in six wins over Pontypridd which is why he called his dog “Ponty.”
Ricky made his last Quins appearance away against Pontypridd on the 8th April 2012.
