Aled made 117 1st XV Appearances during his 16 seasons with the club. He was the highest points scorer in the 2017/18 and is seen (above) being presented with his award by Alan Jones, Club Treasurer. Aled has yet to be presented with his 100 + appearance tie.
PLAYING RECORD
Aled played for the Quins Youth XV and was in the team that won the Welsh Youth Cup in the 2002/03 season.
He made his first appearance for the Quins 1st XV away to Whitland on the 15th August 2003.
He scored a total of 723 points for the Quins made up of 9 tries; 162 conversions and 118 penalties.
Was appointed Quins backs coach in the 2016/17 season.
Aled has played for a number of clubs including:- Scarlets; London Welsh; Newport Gwent Dragons; Gloucester and Aberavon.
He played for the Welsh 7’s in 2008/09 & 2014/15 seasons.
He appeared for the Barbarians against Heriots RFC on the 22nd April 2015.
He scored a total of 20 points in the Park in a match against Bedwas on the 30th March 2012.
He made his final Quins appearance at the Park against Merthyr on the 4th May 2019.
