This Saturday the Quins welcome Bridgend RFC to the Park following the first set of fixtures in the Indigo Premiership Cup.
Last time the two teams met at Bridgend the Quins ran out worthy winners 38 – 15 but since then some indifferent performances from the home side has seen us slip to two defeats against Llandovery and Aberavon to leave us with plenty of work to do to qualify for the latter stages.
Similarly Bridgend have had some indifferent results with some narrow wins including a breathtaking performance by all accounts against Llandovery where they blitzed the Drovers for 20 minutes to secure points for a dramatic win on the road.
The Quins will know too well that nothing can be taken for granted in terms of results and they know they will need to step up their performance against a talented Bridgend team.
To progress through to the latter stages the management team know that a victory is the only way to keep destiny in our own hands.
