WE START 2024 WITH A W!

After a recent run of poor form, the Quins finally got an important W on the board.

Charlie Titcombe scored all 16 points with one try, one conversion and three penalty kicks.

After recent results going the other way, the Quins defence showed guts and courage to keep the Ravens away from the whitewash for long periods of the second half.

Full time score; Bridgend Ravens 11 – 16 Carmarthen Quins.

RAIN STOPS PLAY

Unfortunately, just after 2:30 (Kick off time) the referee decided that our match verses Neath had to be postponed.

After a 11:30am pitch inspection, the pitch was deemed playable. At 1:30pm the referee went to inspect and was happy with the condition of the pitch.

Both teams warmed up in the heavy rain but the pitch then started to hold water. Unfortunately, by the end of the warm ups, the pitch become dangerous leaving the referee no option but to postpone the fixture without a whistle being blown.

The fixture will now be rearranged for the near future.
