Carmarthen Quins Team Manager Steff Thomas is pleased to announce the signing of ex-Wales international Rob McCusker.

Rob, age 30 years, who originates from North Wales played over 70 games for the Scarlets and won 6 caps for Wales in 2010/11. In 2012/13 season Rob was captain of the Scarlets where he played his rugby at either number 8 or flanker.

Latterly he transferred to London Irish for a season before returning to West Wales and yesterday signed for the Quins. His presence and professional background will surely have a positive impact both on and off the field and he is a welcome boost to the squad who are looking to improve significantly on last years league position.

Steff is also keen to mention the welcome return of Javan Sebastian from Glasgow Warriors, and all Quins supporters are aware of Javan's potential as a Tight Head Prop.

The Quins are also pleased to announce the signing of Wales under 20 and former Scarlets Academy hooker, Torin Myhill, the brother of Cardiff Blues player Kirby Myhill. Again Torin is an excellent prospect and will bring strong competition for the position of first choice hooker.

Another young prospect is Steffan Marshall from Llandovery who is a left footed outside half who Steff describes as 'a young player with heaps of potential'.
