Quins 2nd XV Remain Unbeaten

By Keith Bond | 10/10/2011

Carmarthen Quins 2nd. XV maintained their unbeaten record with an impressive bonus point victory (41 ~ 11) over Morriston away from home.

The Quins pack was outstanding against a very big Morriston unit. Ricky Davies played well at second row and the back row of Mathew Morgan, Liam Fitzpatrick and young Aled Evans tackled everything that moved. Osian Davies also played well in his full game debut for the team.

Replacement scrum half, Dai Halpin, exhibited a physical presence and called the right options. The backs who stood out were the pacy Lloyd Williams and Rhys Chevorni ably backed up by Dion Howells.

This Quins side is playing with a lot of confidence and the pre-season training is paying off for the boys. Again in this match the whole squad was used.

Tries ~ Aled Evans, Liam Fitzpatrick, Dion Howells, Glyn Davies, Rhys Chevorni, and Tom James.

Kicks ~ George Gleeson and Lloyd Williams.

Next Match ~ Waunarlwydd (H)
