Carmarthen Quins travelled to Llandovery and were beaten by a single point 17 -18. The Quins dominated the early exchanges but in fairness to Llandovery they defended well for long periods and turned over possession at crucial times.
The Quins attacked well but were guilty of not taking their chances and poor decision making. Individuals who performed on the day were Paul Beddis, Jamo Thomas and Sam Davies but the team as a whole could not be faulted for their efforts. Unfortunately, once again, they came up short.
The team still remain in contention but will have to play a lot better and simply be more clinical. Next Saturday the team has another tough encounter, this time against the Druids, and they will have to be up to their game to get a result.
Try Scorers for the Quins ~ Gordon Lewis, Dai Halpin and Jamo Thomas.
Conversion ~ George Gleeson.
