The Quins entertained Bonymaen at a sun drenched Abergwili and put on a great display of fifteen man rugby. Bonymaen were outclassed and simply put to the sword by 83 – 0. Thirteen tries were scored in the process to entertain the crowd by a young, skilful Carmarthen side.
The pack led by Ricky Davies and ably supported by Johnny Lees and Matthew Morgan were dominant and again Liam Fitzpatrick was in the thick of the action throughout. The front row boys of Matthew Evans, Daf Bowen and Paul Gravell deserved particular mention for their all-round contribution.
The backs ripped the opposition apart with half backs, Olly Thomas and Alun Howells enjoying a glut of possession and running the show. Centres, Dion Howells and Carwyn Thomas were a class apart, wingers, Andy Jones and Chris Meredith were brought into the action frequently and Dan Bartley was solid at full back.
This Quins team have been the surprise package of the season and remain top of the league by nine points with two games to play against lowly Mumbles and Waunarlwydd. However, next week it is away to Waunarlwydd in the quarter final of the Cup.
