Match Preview

Bridgend Ravens

Bridgend RFC, now Bridgend Ravens, were formed in 1878 and have been playing at the famous Brewery Fields, on and off, since 1920.

After two top 3 positions in the early years of the Premiership, financial and other problems saw a dramatic decline in the club’s fortunes until they were relegated in 2008/09 as bottom of the league. Then an end of season revival prevented them from being relegated to Division 2 West in the next season before they gained their rightful position in the Premiership at the end of the 2010-11 season.
